Here at the Working Families Party, we don’t take the cross-nomination of our candidates lightly. After all, we’re giving candidates our seal of approval right on the ballot—so we need to be sure that every WFP candidate will be a champion for working people.
We are happy to announce that forty-seven candidates have received the WFP nomination. Our members cross-nominated Democrats, Republicans, and a Green. (See the full list here.)
Over the span of the last two months we asked candidates the hard questions—from holding the big banks accountable, to health care reform, to dealing with the foreclosure crisis. WFP members gathered at nominating caucuses in Bend, Salem, Eugene, Portland, and St. Helens to discuss each candidate’s answers.
This process was successful because of the dedication of our members, affiliates, allied organizations, and supporters like you. Now we need your help to elect these WFP candidates and send them to Salem and Washington, DC to fight for working Oregonians.
